Net Work

The pen dances and prances across the paper leaving fine drops of ink. As if performing a dance it bounces and skips along its way in its own tact accumulating uncountable dots to broad or dense areas. During this process I sink obliviously into the rhythm only to surge when my hand lets go of the pen.
Areas that overlay each other produce fantastic figures, light and airy, resembling the artful flight of a swarm of birds (Heer-Scharen, Triptychon).
Every dot in my drawings stands for the manifold information, which is stored in networks that connect people worldwide but also control and manipulate them.
